The Story Behind the Soap
It started the way most good things do - a little curiosity and a desire to keep busy after losing my husband. It began as a hobby and as gifts for family and friends. Soon, friends began placing orders, and before long, a couple of local stores wanted to carry my products. A simple pastime grew into The Texan Grandma, where I take pride in creating quality, handmade products with natural ingredients.
I'm a grandma, a Texan, and a maker. Every bar of soap, every bottle of lotion, every tin of beard balm that leaves my hands has been made with intention. I use real ingredients — goat milk, nourishing oils and butters, waxes and pure distilled waters. I make everything in small batches so nothing sits on a shelf for long.
Wimberley is my home, and the Hill Country is my inspiration. I hope a little of that warmth finds its way into every product you try.
